From January 18 to January 21, 2025, we had the incredible opportunity to participate in this year’s edition of Shops 1st Try Hochfügen, thanks to the support of www.decha.pl and 3Style - www.sklepsnowboardowy.pl. This is one of the most important events for splitboarding, freeride, and snowboarding enthusiasts, where you can test the latest gear and discover industry innovations.

Thanks to Damian and Morgan, we had the exclusive chance to test the newest snowboards, splitboards, bindings, and boots, while also getting insights into the latest trends and technologies in mountain gear.

Workshops, Presentations, and Expert Meetings

Beyond testing snowboard and splitboard equipment, the event organizers arranged numerous workshops and presentations, where industry experts shared valuable tips on choosing, maintaining, and servicing freeride, snowboard, and splitboard gear. One of the greatest highlights of this trip was meeting Jeremy Jones – an icon of freeride and splitboarding. His positive energy and open attitude made the conversations inspiring, and the chance to gain first-hand knowledge from him was truly priceless.

After a day full of splitboard testing and powder riding, Hochfügen amazed us with its culinary offerings and evening gatherings, which strengthened the freeride community spirit. This event will stay in our memories for a long time!
